Ina’s research interests are in new media art explorations. Her digital paintings are animated and fit variable media spaces, creatively employing digital painting, animation, since 2010 stereography and panoramic 360 projection. Her films have been awarded and screened internationally and she presented her works at the events such as Stereopsia 2017 (3D Stereo MEDIA 2013), Web 3D Art Gallery QUT Brisbane 2017, Visualization Matters UNSW 2017, Ars Electronica Festival 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2016, Asia Animation Forum PISAF Korea 2014 and 2017, S3D 3D Festival Beyond, ZKM 2013-16, 67th Edinburgh International Film Festival 2013, Women 3D directors Paramount Studios Hollywood 2014, FMX Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Transmedia Stuttgart 2014, Siggraph Asia Hong Kong 2014, ISEA 2010, Brooklyn Film Festival New York 2012, Anima Mundi Festival Brazil 2012 and 2013, 3D stereo Dimension 3 Festival Paris, 2010, Attakkalari India Biennial Bangalore India 2010. Ina holds BFA in Textiles Painting from the University of Applied Art Belgrade and MFA in Arts from the University of California LA. Ina has been Japan Foundation Fellow since 1991. She has been teaching at the California State University Long Beach (2000-03); LASALLE College of the Arts, (2005-07); Nanyang Technological University Singapore, School of Art, Design and Media, (Asst. Prof 2007-2015), earning Associate Professor 2015-till present. She has been presented with the Koh Boon Hwee Scholars Award 2015 and the Nanyang Education Award 2014 (School) for recognition to the influence of inspirational teaching
An award-winning animator, artist, educator and entrepreneur, Mark has developed systems and techniques for animation in many different media including laser light and computer graphics. His worked on numerous big budget, award winning animated and live-action films at studios such as Philips Interactive, Tokyo Broadcasting System Vision, Acclaim Entertainment, Dreamworks Feature Animation and Rhythm and Hues Studio, Playa Vista. An animation industry veteran and founding faculty at Nanyang Technological University’s School of Art, Design and Media in the Digital Animation area. He is currently based in Singapore, consulting with start-up companies on gamification of learning protocols using AI based teacher avatars, and creating interactive/reactive artworks for public art installations. He was the Art Gallery Chair for SIGGRAPH Asia 2013 conference in Hong Kong and Educators Program Chair SIGGRAPH Asia 2008. Mark's current work utilizes audio reactive and generative real-time animation.
