Created for a 15 x 2 meter LED video wall this animation explores pin screen animation with audio reactive animation and emotive expression. Animation Programming done with Touch Designer. Music De Lune by Claude Debussy, Peter Frankl, piano, Vox, recorded c1962. A tribute piece dedicated to the innovation of Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Alekseyev, a Russian-born French filmmaker who invented the pin-screen method of animation with his collaborator (later his wife), the animator Claire Parker. This film premiered at the Ars Electronica, Prix Ars Festival in September 2016.
